jetting and vacuuming simultaneously. Each unit has a 12-cubic yard
debris body and a separate 1500-gallon tank for the storage of
fresh water. The units also have hydraulically operated reels
mounted on the front of the trucks. The reels hold from 600’ to1000’ of one-inch hose capable of 2500 PSI at 80 G.P.M. An
assortment of nozzles and various root-cutting equipment is
available on each truck for different size pipes. Each of our

contaminating any water supply.

Top-end TV Units
Downunder Municipal Services owns and operates Pearpoint
Explosion Proof Closed Circuit Color TV Units, which are equipped
with a pan and tilt camera head for 360-degree rotation to allow
complete viewing of the periphery of the pipe. A coaxial cable
supplies the power to the camera and tractor unit to a distance
1200’. For larger diameter sewers, the camera is mounted on a
tractor chassis designed for televising 24” to 144” pipe. This
tractor is equipped with an elevator used to raise the camera in
higher flow pipe for better view of the sewer. The elevator is
remotely operated from inside each unit. Downunder uses this highend
equipment to carefully inspect each sewer section and ensure
that all damage or defects are logged.
Our operators are PACP certified to use the software for closed
circuit TV inspections.
